Puppet presentation ready for summer at the museum: VOICE of the Valley

A child visiting a museum is a good way to help fill the long hours of summer vacation. Black

The Diamond Museum on Railroad Avenue will host two shows designed specifically for children.

The Lady with the Puppets arrives Wednesday July 24 for two events on puppet creation. The first is from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the second from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Each presentation is followed by a time when the children gather around a table where they will receive help in creating their own puppets. Additionally, each child will receive a bag of supplies home so they can get creative at home.

TThe event and supplies are free.

Registrations are limited to 15 children per session. Register on the museum website: Blackdiamondmuseum.org; click on Events then click on “Children’s Events”. Under Kids’ Events, go to Puppet Making for Kids.
