DeKalb police arrest woman after traffic stop

AFTON TOWNSHIP, Ill. (WIFR) – The DeKalb Police Department pulled over a woman Tuesday afternoon and arrested her on an outstanding warrant.

Just before 2 pm Tuesday, Barbara McPherson, 69, of Waterman was driving a gray 2020 Kia Forte when police pulled her over at the intersection of Route 23 and Perry Road. Investigations showed McPherson has a valid warrant out of California for possession of dangerous drugs.

She was arrested and taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
