Annual Summer Athletics Meet

A few hundred athletes of almost all ages gather for the annual Tucson, Ariz., Parks and Rec Summer Track & Field event on June 25, 2024, at the University of Arizona’s Drachman Stadium. Weekly events run Tuesday evenings through the end of July and cost $3 for ages 17 and under, $4 for ages 18 and over. Parks and Rec also sponsors road races on June 27 at Silverlake Park, July 11 at Lakeside Park, July 18 at Freedom Park and July 25 at Reid Park. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and racing begins at 6 p.m. The cost is $3 for those 17 and under, $4 for those 18 and over.
