Former WWE and WCW star arrested after stabbing man at truck stop

Former WWE and WCW star Cold Scorpio is in a tough situation after allegedly stabbing a man at a Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City earlier this month.

The wrestler, real name Charles Scaggs, was reportedly arrested on June 15. Wrestle Zone reported that He told police he was working as a security guard at the station when he told a man he couldn’t light a cigarette in the building. He told police the man threatened him and they grappled outside before he pulled out a knife and stabbed him in self-defense.

By control zone, Scaggs told police he did not stop the altercation and stabbed the man “a few more times.” The site says police said the man was taken to hospital after they found him “bleeding from the head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen.” They said the man was “conscious and unconscious” while being transported to hospital.

Scaggs was reportedly charged with two felonies. Wrestle Zone said he has bailed and is expected back in court next month.

Scaggs, 58, was best known as 2 Cold Scorpio and Flash Funk in WWE.
