Luis Severino’s heartfelt message to the Yankees

So far this season, Severino has pitched to a 3.29 ERA in 15 starts, for a total of 90.1 innings, according to FanGraphs. Considering he signed a one-year deal with the Mets this offseason, that sets him up to get a decent deal next offseason if he continues this without getting injured.

Severino is coming off a solid outing against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday Night Baseball, in which he pitched six shutout innings in a Mets victory.

The Mets as a whole will look to get back to .500 overall with a win over the Yankees on Wednesday at Citi Field.
