Panera Introduces Sweet Breakfast Menu Inspired by ‘Little Treat’ Trend

Why enjoy a small treat when you can enjoy a big treat?

Panera is putting a twist on TikTokers’ love of treating themselves to a quick snack. The chain amplifies it with the “Big Treat Menu”. The last menu will be deployed on Friday June 28.

Social media users joke about rewarding themselves with a “little treat” after completing any task, even the smallest and most mundane. But no matter how insignificant it may be, Panera believes customers deserve a substantial reward.

The new limited-time CinnaTops are just one of the more extravagant items on the virally inspired menu. The summer item takes a frosted cinnamon roll and tops it with one of three choices: candy cookie, chocolate chip cookie, or fudge brownie.

If fans prefer a little protein in their sweet breakfast, the “Big Treat Menu” has just the item: the CinnaScramble. In this breakfast sandwich, scrambled eggs and American cheese are stacked between cinnamon rolls. Additionally, items can be ordered with bacon or sausage.

Although not part of the treats menu, customers can also try Panera’s new Bacon Double Take, Steak & Wake or Ham, Egg & Cheese for a tasty start to the day.

As the name suggests, the former combines double the amount of bacon found in a typical Panera breakfast sandwich with American and provolone cheese on black pepper focaccia slices. The limited-time steak option features thinly sliced ​​steak sandwiches, white cheddar and scrambled eggs between ciabatta bread. Finally, the ham, egg and cheese sandwich features, well, ham, eggs and white cheddar on ciabatta bread.

Popeye’s has a tasty new treat on its own menu. Since June 25, the chicken chain has been offering boneless chicken wings in six different flavors.

The wings, made from all-white chicken breast, are breaded and fried before being coated in one of six sauces: Classic, Honey Lemon Pepper, Signature Hot, Honey BBQ, Sweet & Spicy and Roasted Garlic Parmesan .

Now, customers can get six pieces of boneless wings for free with any $10 purchase when ordering through the app or online through July 14. All flavors are available as part of the offer.
