Headway Charity Family Fun Day at Cofton Park CANCELED

A LOCAL head injury charity has announced the cancellation of its family fun day at Cofton Park this weekend.

Headway was due to hold its summer festival on Sunday (June 30), but said the event would no longer take place due to “circumstances beyond its control”.

The charity said it “hopes to return next year as usual” to offer visitors an action-packed day of family fun.

Proceeds from the event were going to benefit local Headway services, supporting brain injury survivors and their families.

Organizers said all stall owners were informed of the cancellation by email. Headway’s social media channels were also updated to notify expected attendees of the cancellation.
