Baldur's Gate 3 players are offering $500 if they find a hidden cutscene

Will you leave $500 richer?

Few of us need an excuse to start another game of Baldur’s Gate 3but if you need an extra incentive, a monetary reward is up for grabs.

We’ve been a little quiet for Baldur’s Gate 3 ahead here on GAMINGbible, but that doesn’t mean we’re not still swooning over Astarion and his coy ways.

But we were just biding our time to bring you glorious news, and finally, that time has come for us.

We never get tired of looking at the Baldur’s Gate 3 trailer

You see, there’s a rather elusive cutscene that remains largely unseen, to the point where some even question its existence entirely. As a result, a reward of $500 is up for grabs.

The scene in question is where Karlach breaks the fourth wall to speak to the camera.

Technically, this has already been discovered; however, it was discovered through mods, and so Karlach actress Samantha Béart refuses to acknowledge that it was found.

In a post on Twitter, the actor said: “Congratulations on discovering this, maybe I’ll post about it when someone triggers this organically (rather than removing the file and getting lost in context )…”

We’ve linked to the video rather than embedding it so you can avoid spoilers if you wish.

Despite the existence of this post, YouTuber Proxy Gate Tactician doubts that it can be accessed without the help of mods, and therefore extended the offer of money to prove him wrong.

“I will happily be proven wrong, which is why I decided to offer a bonus,” they explain.

“If anyone can find a legitimate way without modifying game files or cheating to trigger this cutscene, post a method explaining how they did it, and others can do it themselves using this method, I will send them $500. »

The challenge has been met, so which of you brave warriors will meet this challenge?
