THE RuPaul’s Drag Race the franchise continues to expand and take over the world, and a new season of Drag racing in Canada: Canada against the world It’s just what we needed to see some of our favorite queens return for another shot at the crown!

After Ra’Jah O’Hara was crowned as winner of the Canada against the world In Season 1, nine iconic queens return for the chance to be crowned queen of the mother-fucking world in Season 2. With a premiere scheduled for July 19, fans are about to reconnect with many faces familiar as they battle each other. and impressing judges Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski and Traci Melchor.

Cheryl placed in the top 4 in the inaugural season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2019, and has many famous fans, including Grammy Award winner Adele. Cheryl has hosted two podcasts, girl group gossipwhere she discusses iconic girl groups of the past and present, and Killers, cults and queens which chronicles the craziest true crime cases and chilling paranormal stories from around the world.

Eureka considers herself the world’s plus-size drag model and wants to give people the confidence to go out and live their dreams. She appeared in the award-winning HBO series We are herewhere she traveled across the United States and recruited small-town locals to perform in one-night-only drag shows to promote respect and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community.

Kennedy Davenport

Kennedy has been in the entertainment industry for over 30 years and is celebrating 28 years in the art of female impersonation. She is known for her amazing dancing skills and amazing lip sync performances. She is a former singer, dancer and choreographer and has participated in over 30 competitions. She is a legend of the traditional ballroom scene and a loyal member of the Iconic House of Ebony.

La Kahena was born in Tunisia and moved to France at the age of 19 and is the first competitor of the Drag racing franchise of Tunisian origin. She is inspired by Kahina, her namesake, who was a fierce warrior queen who led the Berber resistance in the 7th century. She also studied geopolitics at La Sorbonne in Paris.

Fun facts:

Le Fil is an English-Chinese multidisciplinary pop star, artist and performer, known for her androgynous style. Le Fil began training in musical theater but found it too prescriptive. He enrolled in art school to find his own voice, wanting to create new avenues of expression. There he began exploring the fusion of music, fashion, performance and sculpture, which ultimately led to drag.

Lemon

Lemon was inspired by the citrus fruit of the same name, due to its self-proclaimed “sour as hell” attitude. She is a professional contemporary dancer and has previously performed with the Canadian national tap team.

Miss Fiercalicious

Miss Fiercalicious started drag in 2016 in London, Ontario. while a student at the University of Western Ontario, where she majored in biology and minored in French. His television and film credits include Traitors Canada, Leap, DearAnd Kind of.

Tynomi Banks

Fun facts:

Tynomi Banks is a Canadian legend of the drag scene. She recently headlined the first-ever drag show at the Canadian National Exhibition and hosted Just for Laughs’ Queerly Canadian showcase. Tynomi tours with Grammy Award winner Nelly Furtado as a backup dancer, most recently during the 2024 Juno Awards broadcast. She also supported LIGHTS on its Pep Tour.
