Free dental care offered to children during the back-to-school event organized by the Ronald McDonald House

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will offer free dental care during its annual back-to-school event in Las Vegas this July.

The 10th annual Smarts & Smiles Back to School Dental Fair, hosted by Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas in collaboration with Nevada Health Centers and Speedway Children’s Charities, is scheduled to take place July 8-12.

The event provides essential services including dental care, school supplies and clothing to students. Hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas, located at 2323 Potosi St., near Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard.

Dental services will be available free of charge to individuals age 21 and younger, regardless of insurance status. Each child receiving dental care will also receive a backpack filled with school supplies for the upcoming semester.

Vision screenings will also be offered on specific days and times for children and adults.
