Modified Emergency Shutdown AMC-AASD15A #3DThuursday #3DPrinting “Adafruit Industries – Makers, Hackers, Artists, Designers and Engineers!

vnomus427 shares:

The original model is a great design but I wanted mine to have rounded light shades since that’s the normal design here (at least in the US). Also, I wanted to print the body in yellow and the shades in black and my ERCF is not currently configured. The switches I also had weren’t quite the same size and didn’t match the original model, especially the emergency stop switch, which was about 20mm too long.

Every Thursday is #3Thursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community is passionate and dedicated to building solid objects from digital models. Recently, we’ve noticed electronics projects being integrated into 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures. Every Thursday, we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects possible when you model your projects in 3D!
