Joseph Quinn teased a possible return in the fifth and final season of Strange things.

Talk to Entertainment tonight at the New York premiere of his new horror film, A quiet place: first daythe 33-year-old actor has hinted at the possibility of making a surprise appearance in the next installment of the Netflix hit.

Quinn, who played the role of Eddie Munson in Stranger Things 4revealed that “there’s a good chance” he’ll hang out with his old bandmates in the future.

When the actor asked him about his possible return, he replied, “I love these guys! I’d love to say hi.”

“I’m sure they’re working really hard to land the plane. They’ve been working on this for a long time, so I’m really excited that they’ve kind of gotten to the end and gotten through a good time,” he shared.

When the star asked for more information about possibly reprising his role, he teased, “I might have that feeling too…or maybe not. I don’t know! Who knows?”

Although Quinn’s character Eddie died heroically in the final season, fans believe anything can happen in the world ofStranger Thingsand many are eager to see him face off against an invading alien force again.

For those who don’t know him, the filming of Stranger Things Season 5 has officially started and will be released sometime in 2025.
