New products meet dietary requirements and diversify formats

Omega Active

Omega Active is an omega-3 supplement from Irish brand Revive Active, providing 1,362mg of omega-3 fish oil per two capsule serving, including 756mg of EPA and 504mg of DHA.

The “world’s first omega-3 supplement using a plant-derived enteric shell” features a shell that prevents breakdown in the stomach, aiding absorption and eliminating the fishy aftertaste.

Recommended for people ages 15 and older, including pregnant and breastfeeding women, the capsules aim to support brain, vision and heart health, and contribute to normal brain and eye development in unborn and breastfed infants.

Sports nutrition and lifestyle brand MyProtein has announced the launch of its new plant-based protein “Superblend” based on recycled barley and rice proteins extracted from beer industry by-products.

Superblend comes in two varieties: Plant Protein Superblend, with 22g of protein, and Clear Protein Superblend, the “world’s first clear barley protein,” with 18g of protein per serving.

The product’s goal is to both reduce food waste and provide a nutritious post-workout option. In addition to a high-protein offering, it contains nine essential amino acids, as well as vitamin B12, copper, potassium, vitamin B6, zinc and phosphorus, aimed at supporting muscle health and metabolism.

Dirtea Candy

Functional mushroom powder brand Dirtea has made its foray into the ever-growing gum scene, launching four new products.

Lemon-flavored Chaga Gum, designed to “provide much-needed caffeine-free energy throughout the day,” contains 3,000 mg of Chaga, vitamin C, and zinc.

Designed to “reduce fatigue, maintain vitality and enhance endurance,” Cordyceps Berry-Flavored Gummies contain 3,000 mg of Cordyceps and vitamins B3, B5 and C.

Lion’s Mane gum, in apple flavor, contains 2,400 mg of Lion’s Mane and vitamins B12 and B5. Dirtea maintains that “when taken daily, our Lion’s Mane Gummies support cognitive function, memory, nervous system regulation and mental clarity, while also helping to reduce fatigue and exhaustion.”

Tremella Peach Flavor Gummy is designed to support healthy hair, skin and nails, containing 3,000 mg of Tremella, plus biotin, vitamin C, selenium, zinc, vitamin A and vitamin E, with the aim of supporting the “natural synthesis of hyaluronic acid and collagen from within”.

Quiet bars

Ten PM, the startup focused on improving sleep, has launched its Oatmeal and Cherry “Calm Bars,” designed to be “the perfect evening treat to help calm your body and mind in anticipation of ‘a good night’s sleep “.

Each 50g bar contains ashwagandha, magnesium and chamomile, ingredients that promote relaxation and regulate sleep patterns.

Neuro Phix

Botanical supplement startup Phytaphix has launched a new blend targeting inflammation, fatigue and nerve symptom function to “empower” consumers with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Neuro Phix contains ingredients such as boswellic acid, ellagic acid, curcuminoids, ginger root, silymarin and vitamins B12 and D3 in capsule form.

The twelve ingredients included were chosen to support various aspects of health, including reducing fatigue, maintaining a normal inflammatory response, normal muscle function, and normal psychological function.

Stick-pack format

PharmaLinea has launched a white label grab-and-go stick pack format for its prediabetic supplement >Your<, containing Qgluco, a patented plant-based blood sugar control ingredient, and chromium.

The new Orostick format complements the >Your< prediabetiq capsules launched last year amid growing consumer interest in blood sugar control.

According to Matevž Ambrožič, Marketing and Public Relations Director of PharmaLinea, the launch of the capsules was the most important of his tenure, driven by the growing population affected by diabetes and prediabetes, as well as the increased interest in blood glucose management facilitated by continuous glucose monitors (CGM).
