GTA 6 The first trailer made waves around the world. However, it seems that the hype created around the first trailer is now making fans impatient due to the lack of updates on the game.

Rockstar hasn’t revealed much about the title, other than confirming its development and releasing the first trailer. Fans are wondering if this is the same situation that Todd Howard announced Ancient Scrolls 6 hastily.

GTA 6 Since rock star games is arguably the most anticipated game in the eyes of fans. The only real update the studio gave was when leaks forced them to confirm that the next installment in the series was in development.

Then came the first trailer, breaking numerous records, no surprisecausing a metaphorical crisis on the Internet. It was December 2023. Fans are wondering why it’s been over six months since the trailer was released. One fan expressed his disappointment on the game’s subreddit:

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the only time Rockstar has approached the marketing of an upcoming video game in this way. This was highlighted by fans commenting on the post above:

No one knows when the next information about the game will be available, but something similar happened recently with Bethesda. It’s six years after Todd Howard’s studio released the trailer for Ancient Scrolls 6 in 2018.

At this point, almost every player may be aware Microsoft’s Record Acquisition of ActivisionDuring the Federal Trade Commission trial that ruled in favor of Microsoft, Phil Spencer provided some clarification on the game’s eventual release.

Here’s what the Xbox boss said:

The above tweet and the trailer release imply that the game is set to release in 2028, ten years after the first trailer. This is a much worse situation than Rockstar Games. It even led many fans to wonder if the Elder Scrolls 6 trailer was released to “shut people up”:
