Manchester United offer Jadon Sancho to Arsenal and Chelsea

Manchester United have reportedly offered out-of-favour striker Jadon Sancho, 24, to Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Jadon Sancho has no future at Manchester United. The Red Devils are so desperate to part ways with the 24-year-old striker that they have offered him to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City for a possible move in the summer transfer window.

Jadon Sancho and his struggles at Manchester United

Jadon Sancho has seen his progress come to a screeching halt since joining Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021. The Premier League club long pursued the Englishman before securing his services as part of a significant transfer. However, he has barely made his mark at Old Trafford in the last three years.

Sancho suffered another blow at Manchester United last season when an altercation with Erik ten Hag ended with the Dutch tactician banning him from the first team. The out-of-favour 24-year-old striker got his desired exit route when Borussia Dortmund re-signed him on loan during the winter transfer window.

The England international has been excellent for the Bundesliga side, amassing three goals and three assists in 21 appearances in all competitions for the Black and Yellows. However, Sancho’s long-term future at Manchester United is non-existent after the club decided not to fire Erik ten Hag. The situation has become so desperate that the Red Devils are offering him to their Premier League rivals.

Will the Premier League’s top brass accept the offer?

The report claims that Manchester United have offered Jadon Sancho to Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City. The Gunners can do with a player like him, given Mikel Arteta wants the club to sign a wide striker amid links with Johan Bakayoko and other strikers. As for Chelsea, they are also scouring the market in search of offensive reinforcement.

As for Manchester City, Sancho is a former Elite Development Squad trainee. He could be a long-term solution in the final third, but a summer transfer is unlikely after the way he left the club to join Borussia Dortmund. Speaking of Borussia Dortmund, the Black and Yellows are keen to re-sign the 24-year-old Englishman, albeit on another loan deal.

Recent reports have also revealed an offer to Barcelona. However, it will be interesting to see if Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City jump at the chance to secure Jadon Sancho’s services as his Manchester United career falters.
