Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. has entered into a limited distribution agreement with Think Surgical Inc. to exclusively offer the TMINI miniature robotic knee replacement system, according to a press release.

The agreement allows Zimmer Biomet to add the TMINI personalized robotic solution to its robotic surgery portfolio, according to the release.

“Our strategic partnership with Think Surgical allows us to explore the value of a wearable platform to accelerate the adoption of robotics in orthopedic surgery.” Nitin GoyalMD, “We believe the TMINI System design is particularly valuable and well-suited for knee procedures performed in ambulatory surgical centers and other outpatient settings,” Zimmer Biomet’s chief science, technology and innovation officer said in the statement.
