Ria Atayde says netizens’ claims about her brother are unfair

January 24 – Ria Atayde felt it was unfair for people to accuse her brother Arjo of using his girlfriend, Maine Mendoza, to gain popularity.

As reported by ABS-CBN, the actress, who recently appeared on the show “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” expressed her frustration over such allegations, saying, “A lot of people have said that her successes are now linked to her. It’s so unfair.”

“He worked so hard to get to this point and discredit his work? Wow. That’s not fair at all,” she added through tears.

Young Atayde said Mendoza and her brother are still getting to know each other, but she met the actress and she really likes Mendoza.

“She’s very real,” she said.

However, Atayde stressed that she was not allowed to say more about the two of them, saying that her brother and Mendoza are still getting to know each other.

“We don’t really talk about our love lives unless they’re about to go to the next level or they’re about to end,” she said, adding that things get real the moment they start discussing them.
