The Dessoff Choirs announce the 2024-25 season

The Dessoff Chorales have announced their 2024-2025 season and their 100th anniversary.

Malcolm J. Merriweather directs Will Liverman in Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem. The Dessoff Choirs & Orchestra perform.

Date of performance: November 2, 2024 at City Hall

Malcolm J. Merriweather and the Dessoff Choirs perform Handel’s “Messiah.”

Date of performance: December 6, 2024 at James Chapel, Union Theological Seminary

The Dessoff and Malcolm J. Merriweather Choirs perform Handel, Gruber, Gevaert, Mendelssohn, Lubeck and Wade.

Date of performance: December 7, 2024 at James Chapel, Union Theological Seminary and December 8, 2024 at St. Philip’s

Malcolm J. Merriweather and Steven Ryan perform Hermann, Florence Price, Brahms, Schumann and Strauss.

Performance dates: February 20, 2025 at James Chapel, Union Theological Seminary

Verdi’s Requiem and Tania Leon’s new work will be performed by the Dessoff Choirs, The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and Downtown Voices. Malcolm J. Merriweather directs.

Performance dates: May 1 and 2, 2025 at Trinity Church
