Ogden house fire under control

OGDEN, UTAH — A fire that started Saturday at an Ogden home was quickly extinguished by local firefighters. The blaze was reported at 1:11 p.m. after a homeowner used a blowtorch to set fire to debris while gardening. The fire spread to the roof of the home and remained isolated to the exterior of the house. Firefighters had it under control by 1:35 p.m. No injuries were reported.
