East Palo Alto’s Savior Sav Releases Bay Area-Inspired EP ‘Dangerous Man’

Catering to a San Francisco Bay Area-oriented audience, Savior Sav knows that leaning into his most comfortable sound is an authentic way to gain new listeners, supporters, and musical traction. He’s a straightforward artist; when asked about the inspiration for his recent EP Dangerous manhe had one thing to say.

“The inspiration behind my release is to lay the foundation of who I am as an artist,” Savior Sav said.

Across three tracks, Savior Sav flexes his lyrical muscles and does exactly what he set out to do, which is build on that foundation and take his playing to the next level. A standout from the trio is the funkier “UP2U,” which is accompanied by a trippy video; the project’s second track, “They Know I’m Shinin,” is self-produced, showing that Savior Sav’s talents extend beyond the microphone and into the booth.

The next step for Savior Sav is a simple mission: grow his local fan base.

“My next steps are to simultaneously promote this project and create and network with other Bay Area artists, primarily in Oakland,” he said.
