Eva Longoria shocked by Kathryn Joosten’s death

Eva Longoria was stunned by Kathryn Joosten’s death in June, as the actress appeared to be in good health when they wrapped Desperate Housewives together.

The veteran star, who played meddlesome neighbour Karen McCluskey in the TV series, has lost her battle with lung cancer at the age of 72.

His death came just a month after the hit series wrapped filming in May, and Longoria admits the news came as a shock to the entire cast.

She told The Sun: “She was an incredible actress and an even better human being. She was an activist and cared about a lot of issues. On the last day of filming she was great, in good spirits and laughing.

“She didn’t look like she was going to die, so it was a big surprise to all of us that she died. We will miss her terribly. »

Joosten’s character lost his battle with lung cancer in the series finale.
