“Stop the fight!” – Alex Pereira terrifies UFC legend Daniel Cormier with vicious KO in Jiri Prochazka rematch

Alex Pereira’s latest performance has Daniel Cormier genuinely concerned about the safety of Jiri Prochazka.

“Poatan” dropped the former light heavyweight champion with one punch late in the first round before closing the show in the second stanza of UFC 303.

The ex-kickboxer followed up with a huge head kick as soon as the fight resumed before continuing with a series of worrying ground strikes.

UFC legend Daniel Cormier, who was on commentary with Joe Rogan and Jon Anik, was so worried that he started yelling at referee Herb Dean.

“Stop the fight!” “It’s over,” he said with genuine panic in his voice.

The former dual-weight champion breathed a huge sigh of relief as Pereira was knocked out by his opponent, adding: “Stop the fight, Herb Dean.”

Prochazka was dazed and confused as he tried to immediately get back on his feet.

Dean made another huge mistake by helping him up, rather than encouraging him to stay on the floor while the doctors examined him.

Pereira walked over to see his rival, who was stumbling around the octagon and barely staying on his feet in a frightening scene at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Pereira started the fight very well, landing leg kicks.

The 205-pound king landed several eye-catching head kicks before shaking off Prochazka’s wrestling attempts and ending the first frame with a very heavy knockdown.

Prochazka crumpled to the ground like a sack of potatoes when he was hit by Pereira’s trademark left hook right at the bell.

The Czech fighter returned to his corner where he had a minute to collect his thoughts, which were quickly knocked out of him again.

A big headbutt really should have ended the fight immediately, but the referee allowed Prochazka to take several unnecessary punches before waving it off 13 seconds into the second round.
