Chris Pratt says he’s open to entering the DC Universe if “it made sense”

Los Angeles: a few days after his visit guardians of the galaxy Director and new DCU co-head James Gunn on the set of the upcoming film SupermanActor Chris Pratt says he would love to be a part of the franchise but there were some conditions.

The actor, who played the role of Peter Quill/Star Lord in guardians of the galaxy trilogy under the DCU’s rival Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), said the opportunity should fit his schedule and make sense.

When asked if he would like to join the DC franchise, now led by Gunn and Peter Safran, Pratt replied TMZ: “Yeah, sure.” “If it could fit into my schedule and it made sense, I would love it. Of course, I love playing Star-Lord and I hope there’s a chance that it comes back. I feel so lucky to be able to do all of this, to be considered for all of this. If it’s true and the fans love it, I would be more than happy to do it,” he added.

Earlier this month, the 45-year-old visited the sets of Gunn’s film. Superman and the filmmaker shared his photo on social media, captioning it: “It’s always nice to have friends visiting the set.” In the interview, Pratt further said “there’s always a chance” that he makes the franchise leap.

Asked which character he would like to play, he replied: “I have to let the fans and people like James decide. I’m not really sure. I’m really not sure. »

Starring David Corenswet in the title role, alongside Nicholas Hoult, Anthony Carrigan, Isabela Merced and Nathan Fillion, Superman expected to be released in July 2025.
