Coile Middle School principal announces resignation | City News

Dr. Beverly L. Ford, principal of Coile Middle School, has submitted her resignation, effective immediately.

Ford worked for the Clarke County School District for 18 years, as a teacher, special educational behavior specialist, and then in administrative positions at the elementary and secondary levels. She spent the last four years as principal of Coile High School.

Ford received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Central University, his master’s degree from Piedmont University, his education specialist degree from Georgia State University and finally his doctorate in education from Georgia Southern University.

Ford will take on a new role in North Carolina.

CCSD Superintendent Robbie Hooker will appoint an interim principal for the 2024-25 school year to ensure a smooth transition while the search for a permanent position begins.
