Brahim Diaz’s big turnaround at Tottenham sends a very clear message to West Ham

Brahim Diaz is a player who has been closely monitored by West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur over the past year.

In fact, West Ham’s interest in signing Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid dates back to the summer of 2020.

Now Tottenham have also thrown their hat into the ring for the little Madrid ace, but there is indeed a very big problem.

Interestingly, Diaz recently switched international allegiance from Spain to Morocco, after his country of birth failed to give him the chance to shine.

He is an extremely talented player, but it seems he will never realize his potential in the Spanish capital due to the extremely high competition for places.

That’s not to say he’s not a world-class player in the making, because he almost certainly is.

I feel like Diaz just needs to have a platform to showcase his talent on a regular basis, and then everyone will see the best in him.

So, could he soon join the Premier League?

The Hammers will now know exactly where we stand.

Indeed, a new claim has emerged regarding the silky attacking midfielder’s future in Spain.

Foot Mercato claim Tottenham have made a move to sign the 24-year-old Real Madrid star.

Los Blancos gave Spurs an instant response: the player doesn’t want to join them, and they don’t want to sell him either.

This is a very big turning point as there is no way he can get ahead of regular football compared to Jude Bellingham, Viniciuis Junior or Rodrygo.

It seemed clear that he would leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, and it was reported that the Madrid midfielder’s departure was almost certain (Atalayar).

So if Tottenham have no chance of signing him, then unfortunately neither do West Ham.

Steidten has been tracking Diaz since last year, and the Morocco international would be a dream signing for the Hammers.

Despite recent claims about Tottenham’s difficulties recruiting Diaz, West Ham are expected to push the boat out to bring him to the club. He is a generational talent and would flourish alongside Lucas Paqueta, Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen.

He can play on the wing or as a number 10 and has truly astonishing technical ability.

The Real Madrid star is just as strong with his left foot as he is with his right and looks a lot like former Arsenal star Santi Cazorla.

It appears that Tottenham have failed in their attempt to sign Brahim Diaz, and that does not bode well for West Ham.

However, that doesn’t mean we should give up on the pursuit of the super talented 24-year-old.
