Man arrested for drug possession after traffic stop in Narragansett

NARRAGANSETT — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Connecticut man early Sunday morning following a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Exeter.

Brian Keehan, 47, of Middletown, Connecticut, was arrested at 1:36 a.m. on an affidavit and warrant for possession of Schedule IV products over 10 grams, an accusation from the Narragansett Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a routine traffic stop by police.

Keehan was transported to the Hope Valley State Police barracks, where he was treated.

Following treatment, Keehan was released to the custody of the Narragansett Police Department.
