Viewers shocked as prison guard accused of misconduct over video

A TikToker and prison guard has been accused of misconduct in public office after footage of her having sex with an inmate went viral on X. Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30 years old, reportedly worked at HMP Wandsworth prison in south London, England, but has since resigned from his position.

London’s Metropolitan Police told the BBC it had launched an investigation on Friday “after officers became aware of a video believed to have been filmed inside HMP Wandsworth”. According to the media outlet, she is expected to appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Prison Guard Becomes TikTok Creator

Netizens have since dug up what appears to be the former correctional officer’s TikTok account, which appears to have been shared with her husband. According to the Wayback Machine, the TikTok account @theplayroomx6 had 149 followers as of Friday, June 28.

The profile picture appears to show Linda with her husband, while the TikTok account’s description reads: “Just some married best friends.” The account appears to have since been deleted, but TikToks with the @theplayroomx6 watermark continued to circulate on X and TikTok.

One clip appears to show her and her husband participating in the “Sprite challenge,” while another appears to show Linda participating in the “how old are you dead inside” trend with a TikTok filter.

According to the Daily Mail, the prison guard and her husband also appeared on a Channel 4 TV show about swinging, while the outlet also claimed she had an OnlyFans.

On TikTok, users were shocked by the chain of events. Many users pointed out that the officer had, in their opinion, “purposely ruined her life” for the sake of the video. In the comments of one TikTok, one user asked, “At what level was she thinking?” While another wrote, “It wasn’t so good that it was worth risking her entire career and reputation.”

A third said he regretted watching the clip, saying: “My curiosity should have stayed curious,” while a fourth admitted: “I couldn’t believe what I was watching.” »
