Man Discovers Secret Room In New Home – What Was Inside Terrified Him

A man was left terrified after discovering a hidden room in his home – and the scary thing that was hiding inside.

The guy said he was moving into a new duplex when he discovered a crawl space running the length of the property. He decided to investigate but became suspicious when he realized the door to the room was locked with “20 giant screws.”

This led him to wonder what sinister things might be lurking on the other side. He said on Reddit: “(It) kind of chilled me. So I’m sitting here in this little closet with the tension building all the time.

“It took a few minutes to get them all off. The door was painted on the trim and I had to give it a little kick to get it free.”

The door eventually opened to reveal something terrifying on the other side: a “little green guy about four feet tall with stitches in his face” standing on the other side. He added: “I threw the hammer drill, fell over and almost shit myself, all in one uncoordinated motion.”

After taking a moment to calm down, he realized that it was a Halloween decoration left there as a prank by one of the property’s previous owners. Reddit users were quick to react to the discovery, with many seeing the funny side of it while others said they had similar experiences.
