Paris Hilton left fans in shock after drastically changing her voice while speaking at a congressional hearing on the need for reforms in the foster care and youth rehabilitation system.

The 43-year-old media mogul is known for her iconic, high-pitched voice, often referred to as a “baby voice” by her fans.

However, while contributing to a congressional panel focused on improving child welfare, the hotel heiress — who recently spoke out about the devastating abuse she suffered at a youth rehabilitation center — decided to change her voice.

Midway through her discussion, the mother of two opted for a deeper tone to address the serious topic.

Fans were stunned by the media icon’s change in tone as they even suggested she should go into politics.

In a viral video, U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney, 63, asked Paris to explain how mental health and psychological support could be integrated into child welfare programs.

Their conversation began with the star complimenting Rep. Tenney’s jacket.

In her signature “girly” voice, Paris said, “Thank you, I enjoyed our Zoom call. I love your jacket. The glitter is amazing. »

The U.S. representative responded, “I got a little bling here for today.”

The mother of two replied: “I wanted to know who did it later.”

However, when the conversation moved to something more serious, so did the beautiful blonde’s voice.

“I think the most important thing is that we have access to therapy, counseling, mentoring and other community programs,” she said authoritatively.

The abrupt change sent fans into a frenzy on social media, with many rushing to explain the star’s different speaking styles.

The 43-year-old media mogul is known for her iconic, high-pitched voice, often referred to as her “baby voice” by fans.

“Paris admitted she’s playing a character and the voice is part of it…there’s nothing wrong with that,” one person said.

“She’s been wearing this character like a jumpsuit for so long, it’s fascinating that she can just put it on and take it off like that,” added another.

“If you’ve ever watched anything by Paris Hilton, that’s okay. She uses her baby voice as a coping mechanism and also to appear inconspicuous,” someone else shared.

They added: “The code-switch is his true voice. She learned it from her mother. They talk about it often.

Hilton’s “real” voice has been a subject of debate for years.

During an appearance on This Morning in the UK, host Alison Hammond was stunned when Hilton spoke in her deep voice.

“Is this the real Paris? That’s not the voice I remember!” She gasped.

“That’s my real voice, it was a character,” replied the Stars Are Blind singer.

“I’m not a dumb blonde, I’m just good at playing one.” After the good life, I found myself stuck playing that role.
