CSC Announces the Creation of the All-District® Academic Women’s At-Large Team

NAPERVILLE – Twenty-nine student-athletes from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) were among the 2024 Academic All-District® At-Large Women’s Team honorees, selected by College Sports Communicators and announced last Tuesday, June 25.

Student-athletes in women’s bowling, women’s golf, women’s lacrosse and women’s water polo represented seven CCIW institutions and one CCIW associate member. Augustana, Illinois Wesleyan and North Central each earned six selections.

CSC’s Academic All-America® program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and the classroom. The program recognizes winners from four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are marked with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
