Arizona Cardinals cornerback room brimming with youth, intrigue and uncertainty heading into 2024

The Arizona Cardinals have three weeks until training camp begins and questions about roster construction are going to be an interesting topic for the next two months until roster cuts day in 2024.

We’ve discussed running backs and the defensive line, but what about the cornerback room?

Right off the bat, you have to assume that these four players are on the roster:

• Max Melton
• Sean Murphy-Bunting
• Garrett Williams
• Elie Jones

They’re probably all roster players and I also imagine the top three will be the top three in terms of snaps in 2024.

From there you have:

• Starling Thomas – 474 shots in 2023
• Kei’Trel Clark – 6th round pick and 464 snaps in 2023
• Divaad Wilson – 96 shots in 2023
• Michael Ojemudia – Former 3rd round pick of the Denver Broncos, did not play in 2023
• Darren Hall – Former 4th round pick for the Atlanta Falcons, did not play in 2023
• Bobby Price – Former Detroit Lion and special teams ace, signed to Arizona Cardinals in 2023
• Jaden Davis – 2024 seventh-round pick

If I had to bet now, the cornerback room in 2024 to start the season will be:

• Max Melton
• Sean Murphy-Bunting
• Garrett Williams
• Elie Jones
• Kei’Trel Clark
• Bobby Price
• Jaden Davis

Price and Davis could be a tough matchup, but I think only three safeties are on the roster, something we’ll see later.
