After Rafael announced the news, TalkSport editor Michael Benson shared it across the X-verse, writing: “Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin reportedly generated “between 325,000 and 350,000″ PPV buys in the United States.” And you guessed it! Glaser found this information circulating on the platform, contradicting what he had previously said about the fight’s PPV numbers.

So he quickly countered the numbers by writing: “This is hilarious, it didn’t even hit 150,000 buys!!! More #PBC propaganda being spread in the media by #PBC agents like #LeonardEllerbe. #TankDavis #Baltimore #Boxing.” It’s also worth mentioning that while the event was part of PBC’s deal with Amazon Prime, it was available to watch on traditional television and satellite services and digitally on PPV.com.

Interestingly, if Rafael’s sources are correct about the 350,000 PPV buys, the event, which sold for $74.95, would have grossed over $26 million. So when fans found out about Glaser’s total denial of the new numbers, let’s just say they had something to say to him.

Rick Glaser Pushes for Anti-PBC Propaganda

Glaser has criticized PBC’s every move, even claiming a while back that the promotion was on the verge of bankruptcy, but there is no evidence of this. So, with his latest attack on the promotion, many antagonistic comments have been made by fans. One user didn’t mince words, calling Glaser out for potentially “layer” And “capping”. Yet Rick is adamant about his claims that the fight is low PPV.

Someone else pushed Glaser to reveal the sources for his bold claims, suggesting that he sounded absurd. The problem is that if he reveals his sources, he can no longer use them for his claims.

Another user contradicted Glaser’s claims that this was all PBC propaganda by suggesting that Glaser was spreading anti-PBC propaganda. This shows how political the sport of boxing has become.

The next user asked if Benson was a PBC agent, sarcastically mocking Glaser. But Glaser responded by claiming that Rafael was the real culprit, Benson was just reporting the news.
