Prince Louis steals the show with caught-on-camera yawn

The king’s grandchildren, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte, played a starring role on Saturday as they attended the coronation at Westminster Abbey in central London.

Prince Louis, then just five, was seen unable to stifle a yawn at the coronation of his grandfather, King Charles III.

As their father William carried out his official duty, kneeling in loyalty to his father, the new king, the three children watched from inside the abbey. Later, Prince George helped carry his grandfather’s train out of the abbey.

As all three children were under the age of 10, the courtiers had previously explained that they would attend the ceremony, but would withdraw for a short time during the service.

Also present were the new Queen Camilla’s grandchildren, who were tasked with helping her carry her canopy on her way to her coronation.
