New Hope Borough Council to Consider Creating EAC

NEW HOPE, PA — The New Hope Borough Council will consider an ordinance creating an environmental advisory board at its July 16 public meeting.

If established, the CCE would advise Borough officials, agencies, and committees on matters relating to the protection, conservation, management, promotion, and use of natural resources, including air, land, and water resources, located in New Hope, and would study and make recommendations for the adoption of ordinances and regulations necessary to promote and protect the Borough’s natural resources, land, flora, and fauna, the local impacts of climate change threats and opportunities, and the health of its residents.
