LARAMIE, Wyoming (July 1, 2024) –– TNT Sports and the Mountain West Conference have reached a multi-year agreement for a full series of live college football games that will be broadcast exclusively on truTV and Max beginning this season. truTV and Max will show 14 Mountain West college football games during the inaugural season,

Wyoming’s home opener against Idaho on Saturday, Sept. 7 is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. as part of a contest on truTV and air on Max. Wyoming’s contest at New Mexico on Saturday, Nov. 2 will also be televised on truTV and is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.

“TNT Sports provides the Mountain West with a third national television partner to highlight the league’s outstanding student-athletes,” said MW Commissioner Gloria Nevarez. “TNT Sports has always been a leader in sports broadcasting and adding one of the top conferences in the FBS to its lineup will certainly be a benefit to MW and college football fans across the country.” »

The lineup brings additional live sports programming to truTV — which launched a dedicated TNT Sports programming block in primetime earlier this year — and Max. It will also mark the return of college football to TNT Sports, which last televised games in 2006.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Mountain West and bring these exciting college football games to truTV and Max,” said Raphael Poplock, senior vice president of acquisitions, business development and partnerships at TNT Sports. “Through this agreement, we will further expand our live sports programming on truTV while creating additional exposure for the Mountain West and its student-athletes across our TNT Sports platforms.”

Further information on TNT Sports’ Mountain West college football coverage will be announced prior to the start of the season.

The additional broadcast slate will complement MW’s previously announced 49-game national television schedule on CBS Television Network, CBS Sports Network, FOX and FOX Networks.

Additional broadcasts by Spectrum Sports (Hawai’i) and regional/local/school broadcasts will be announced in the coming weeks.
