Iowa City Jazz Festival Causes Temporary Changes to Transit Routes and Stops July 5-6

Public transit routes will change in Iowa City on July 5 and 6 in conjunction with the city’s annual Jazz Festival.

The Iowa City Transit bus interchange will be temporarily relocated to Court Street between Clinton and Dubuque streets beginning at 6 a.m. July 5 and continuing through July 6.

The bus interchange will return to its normal stops at Clinton and Washington streets on July 8.

The bus system will not serve the following downtown stops: 7200, 7201, 7500, 7080, 7081, 7400, 7091, 7207, 7401, 7023, 7077, 7078 and 7244.

The Transit app will track changes and routes will be updated periodically.
