TARTA Announces Special Event Transportation for Toledo Fireworks and Uptown Maumee Music Fest

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) has announced special event transportation for the City of Toledo Fireworks on the 419 as well as the Uptown Maumee Music Fest.

Special transportation for the event includes shuttles that will allow attendees to avoid searching for parking near the event. Shuttles will cost $3 for a round trip from a Park and Ride location to the event area.

According to a TARTA press release, those wishing to watch the fireworks on the 419 on Thursday, July 4, can take a shuttle from Franklin Park Mall to downtown. Buses will depart from the mall at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. and return 20 minutes after the fireworks show ends.

For the Uptown Maumee Music Fest, special event transportation will operate Wednesday and Thursday. Shuttles will run from the Lucas County Rec. Center to E. John and Conant Streets and back. Shuttles will begin Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and run every 30 minutes until 11 p.m. On Thursday, they will begin at noon and run every 30 minutes until 11 p.m.
