The Killing Cancelled

The American crime series The Killing has been canceled.

The crime series, based on the Danish series of the same name, will not return for a third season after the second season concluded last month.

The news was announced on Friday by executives of the American network AMC.

Joel Kinnaman, who starred in the series alongside Mireille Enos, addressed the cancellation in a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, writing: “I couldn’t be more proud of my team. Thank you for all the support and feedback, it’s all greatly appreciated… I’ve learned so much over the last two years.”
