Pomona man arrested for methamphetamine possession near Melvern

OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) – A Pomona man was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop Monday, authorities said.

An investigator with the Osage County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at 293rd and Berryton Rd., near Melvern, for a traffic violation. The traffic stop occurred around 3:50 p.m.

Authorities with the Osage County Sheriff’s Office arrested Seth A. Landie, 43, of Pomona following the investigation.

Landie was transported to the Osage County Jail on suspicion of:

  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Driving without a driver’s license
  • No proof of insurance

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
