The popular singers will thus make their acting debut in this multi-star comedy film. In a recent interview, Daler spoke about it in more detail and also reminisced.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Daler Mehndi revealed that he was offered a role in the film with Kajol. Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi (2001). Initially, he demanded higher fees than the film’s lead actors, Suniel Shetty and Rishi Kapoor. After a while, he decided to decline the role.

Daler Mehndi said: “I was offered a role in 1998 in Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi. I remember thank you today (with the producers) and I asked them for more money than the hero of the film. After a meeting of about 15-20 minutes, I finally decided that I did not want to do the film. All my friends said that it was a huge production and a big film, but I replied: “Mera abhi singing Ka Kaam Hai, also by to focus kar leta hoon; Abhi itna time over there I’m running too hot rahengi’.”

Talking about how he got his bag Welcome to the jungleDaler Mehndi thanked director Ahmed Khan: “He called me and said, ‘Paaji, I’m always looking for a safe place to eat“He’s my brother and an amazing human being, so I couldn’t say no. I’m glad he thought I could play a part in his film.”

Daler also said that Akshay Kumar was the funniest person on the set: “Everyone treated me with so much love and respect. During the shoot, we couldn’t stop laughing on the set, and I can’t imagine how much the audience is going to appreciate it.” it’s over, bahut maza aa raha hai.”
