LETTER: Family member ‘shocked’ by response to business owner’s concerns

Note: The author is writing in response to a businesswoman’s “We need help” appeal to police and city leaders.

In response to Bonnie Zufelt’s article, I am shocked that no one has responded. I also know what is happening at this place from having seen it myself.

Please explain to us why the police and the city are choosing to ignore this huge problem. Are they waiting for someone to get hurt or, God forbid, killed? This place is a cesspool of problems that need to be taken care of. Does the owner of this place have someone in his pocket? Lord, be smart and take care of them! I am ashamed of our police and city council, what is wrong with you all?
