Heart Postpones Royal Flush Tour, Including Resch Center Stop

ASHWAUBENON — Fans who waited 22 years for the Heart to return to Green Bay will have to wait a little longer.

The band announced Tuesday that it has postponed all remaining dates of its Royal Flush Tour, including a Nov. 22 show at the Resch Center, as well as the opening dates of the Journey and Def Leppard Summer Stadium Tour due to Ann Wilson’s health.

Wilson, 74, shared a statement:

“I had surgery to remove something that turned out to be cancerous. The surgery was successful and I feel great, but my doctors are now advising me to have preventative chemotherapy and I have decided to do so. My doctors are therefore asking me to spend the rest of the year away from the stage in order to fully recover. To the ticket buyers, I would really like us to be able to do these shows. Please know that I absolutely intend to return to the stage in 2025. My team is working out these details and we will keep you updated on the plan as soon as possible.

“Thank you all for your support. This is just a break. I still have a lot to sing.”

Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson were back on the road for the first time in five years with the first leg of the Royal Flush Tour in April and May. The tour was scheduled to resume on August 1 and continue through December.

Fans are encouraged to hold on to their tickets for Resch’s show, featuring Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening. Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. More information will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Royal Flush tour would be Heart’s first visit to the Resch Center. The band last played Green Bay during its 2002 Summer of Love tour as part of the Oneida Bingo & Casino’s Pavilion Nights series.

The tour also included an August 15 date with Cheap Trick at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
