Candidate caught lip-syncing during online interview

A recently rediscovered video shows a candidate attempting to ace an interview or exam by lip-syncing to an automated or AI-generated answer to a question. The candidate’s attempt fails when he fails to sync his lip movements to the pre-recorded answers, leading the examiner to uncover the deception.

The video begins with a man dressed in formal attire, wearing headphones, participating in an online interview. As the interview progresses, it becomes clear that the candidate is not answering the questions himself; instead, he relies on playback and tips to navigate the interview.

When asked about his previous work experiences related to the topic, the man let an automated voice provide the answer, while he simply lip-synced the requested response.

The interviewer on the other side of the camera asked, “Did you work on any triggers in your experience?” In response, the man attempted to lip sync his movements to the suggested words, but he struggled and failed to do so convincingly. His poor lip syncing skills became evident, leading the interviewer to declare, “That’s not the way to do it, man. I definitely caught you,” before the video ended.
