The Aston Martin DBX707 AMR24 is a F1-inspired super SUV

Ahead of this weekend’s Formula 1 British Grand Prix, Aston Martin has launched a unique version of its new DBX707. Inspired by both its AMR24 F1 race car and DBX Medical Car, the new variant celebrates Aston Martin’s recent motorsport efforts with a unique livery, interior trim options and colour scheme. Order books are open now and, while pricing is under wraps, expect it to exceed the base DBX707’s £198,000 starting price.

The car shown here is finished in the same Podium Green and Lime Green colours as Aston’s Formula 1 cars, but buyers will also be able to choose between Onyx Black and Neutron White. Wheels are 23-inch Fortis as standard in either satin or gloss black, framing callipers in Lime Green or the more subtle Aston Martin Racing Green. Trophy Silver and carbon fibre finishes can also be specified, with a unique AMR24 plaque ensuring you never forget the importance of the DBX you’re riding in.

The DBX707’s interior is similar, with a revised cabin, either in Onyx Black with Lime contrast stitching, or two-tone Onyx Black and Eifel Green upholstery with the same Lime Green contrasting colour. There’s even a Lime Green saddle strap above the wireless charging tray. As standard, every example will be fitted with the upgraded Bowers & Wilkins audio system, extensive carbon fibre trim and dark chrome or titanium detailing. On the dashboard you’ll find the Aston Martin logo, with the AMR24 logo proudly displayed on the door sills.

Performance remains unchanged, with the DBX707’s Mercedes-AMG-derived 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing the same 697bhp and 664lb ft of torque as the standard car for a claimed 0-60mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193mph. Like the standard car, it features tweaked chassis software, dampers and air springs compared to the stock DBX, helping to squeeze even more performance out of the super SUV.

Marco Mattiacci, Aston Martin Global Brand and Commercial Director, said: “Now featuring a technically advanced interior to match its class-leading performance, the DBX707 AMR24 Edition is an exceptional ultra-luxury SUV with incredible on-road presence. Aston Martin competes at the pinnacle of global motorsport, which is a key pillar of our brand and product strategy for our road cars, and it is a real pleasure to offer this special edition in tribute to the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team.”
