Ruth Langsford ‘shocked and disappointed by third wife’ after Eamonn Holmes split

Ruth Langsford was reportedly left “completely shocked” after learning her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes was seeking solace from a “third woman” following their split.

The couple, who co-hosted ITV’s This Morning for more than a decade, announced their divorce in May after 14 years of marriage. Eamonn admitted at the TRIC Awards, his first public appearance since their split, that he was “not well” and that it was “not a good time at all” for him.

According to Bella magazine, Eamonn has found solace in marriage counsellor Katie Alexander, who has reportedly visited him at his south London flat on several occasions. A source told the Mirror: “She helps Eamonn through the tough times.”

The source added: “The friendship has grown stronger in recent months, but Eamonn’s marriage has been over for some time.” It has also been reported that Eamonn has received additional support from family friend and beautician Lisa Harris.

However, it is GB News presenter Hayley Sparkes, her third pillar of support, who is said to have shocked Ruth the most. While there is no suggestion of any romantic relationship between Eamonn and Hayley, they have been spotted together on social media, according to the Express. A source told the publication: “Ruth is in absolute shock.”

“It all seems to never end,” they claimed. The source also suggested that Ruth felt “let down” by Eamonn’s actions after their split. The source said that the kindness Eamonn has shown to other women, especially so soon after their split, has given her “food for thought.”

Since their split, Eamonn has returned to his role as a presenter on GB News and has expressed his gratitude for the support from fans. Meanwhile, Ruth is currently on an extended break from This Morning and Loose Women.
