13 police officers cleared by grand jury in shooting to end threat

The 13 police officers who discharged their weapons during a multi-jurisdictional chase in January will not be charged.

The Montgomery County grand jury voted Tuesday, July 2, to return an anti-muggler bill against Trotwood police officers, Dayton police officers and Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies who shot James Skirvin during a chase.
