SDCC 24: Fantastic Four Prep – Future Foundation Tease

SDCC 24 prepares for the The Fantastic Four It even looks like there’s a Future Foundation teaser. As you can see in the social media post below, Marvel has been hyping up their presence at Hall H this year. Check it out.

We see silhouettes of the four main characters with words in the movie’s font. I’m assuming, as I and others predicted last week, that the actors will be there in person. We know filming starts the day after SDCC, so when you’re already getting the cast together, why not introduce them to San Diego a day early?

Fans are certain that we will see all four main actors. However, they are now wondering if we will have the full cast presented on stage?

Also, if you look very closely at the writing on the leftmost image above, you’ll see Future Foundation. This looks like some sort of teaser of what to expect from this alternate universe story. Who/what was Future Foundation, you ask?

In the comics, the team is a philanthropic organization created by Reed Richards. It was created to better serve the future of humanity and had some notable members. In addition to Spider-Man and Nathanial Richards, the Future Foundation also had Doctor Doom among its members. In fact, one of their main goals was to defeat Reed’s Council. As for the film, this could be the Future Foundation facing multiversal threats that bring Galactus to them and/or land them in the 616-verse.

Some fans are asking for a teaser at SDCC. Of course, that’s not going to happen, because there would be nothing to tease except the actors. Filming starts the day after SDCC. At best, the best we’ll get to see is the costumes worn on stage, but I find that questionable as well.
