About Evita

About three years ago we were given a gift: a beautiful cinnamon colored Chihuahua with Doberman Pinscher markings. She weighed about three pounds and the whole family fell in love with her. Today she is about six pounds and is a little stick of dynamite. Her daily routine is to throw a small tennis ball at us and chase it at full speed down the hallway. We have a vegetable garden that we visit every day and she protects it from predators like cats and rodents. She has her own carrying case and does her shopping every day. My grandchildren love her and whenever they come over the kids know the routine. She rolls on her back and they stroke her belly. I know these little animals were loved by the Aztecs to guide them to the next world. They were right; these dogs are loyal, lovable and most importantly fearless. A tribute to Evita and I want her to guide me to the next world.
