Matthew West Announces ‘Don’t Stop Praying’ Fall Tour

Five-time GRAMMY-nominated Christian artist and songwriter Matthew West sets course for the road, planning its headliner “Don’t Stop Praying” Tour in partnership with Awakening Events kicking off October 30 in Pensacola, Florida. Spanning 17 cities across the country this fall and winter, “one of the most prolific singer-songwriters in Christian music” (Billboard) is bringing his music to fans across the country, inspired by his Christian radio single “Don’t stop prayingwhich currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Christian Airplay and Billboard Monitored AC charts and continues to climb the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. Despite all the political slogans this year, West encourages Christians to hold on to the message of “Don’t Stop Praying,” adding, “There will be no shortage of campaign slogans this year, my friends, but here’s mine: Don’t Stop Praying.”

Written by West and Jeff Pardo, “Don’t Stop Praying” enjoyed the biggest streaming week in West’s monumental career and is on track to become his most-streamed song to date. The award-winning artist followed up the hit track with an acoustic version last Friday (6/21) to showcase a more intimate and stripped-down perspective on the uplifting song.

Ahead of the track’s release, West released the poignant and relevant track “18 Summers,” which “perfectly captures the moment he’s living in now” (Woman’s World) as a father of two teenage daughters. Later, accompanied by a music video that showcases “myriad realities playing out beautifully” (People), West continues to put out inspiring tracks and is eager to share them on stages across the country with his fans.
