Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Girl Meets World’ Co-Stars Celebrate Her Success

Isn’t that the Girls Meet the World a soft cast? I guess so!

Sabrina Carpenter has just released two top five hits on the Billboard Hot 100, with “Espresso” reaching No. 3 on the All-Genre Songs chart and “Please Please Please” marking the pop star’s first chart success.

To celebrate his recent success, his two former Girls Meet the World Co-stars August Maturo and Ava Kolker took to TikTok to share an adorable video. “How you know Sabrina vs. how we know Sabrina,” Maturo captioned a clip of him and Kolker lip-synching to “Espresso” before a series of photos of the duo posing with Carpenter on the set of the Disney Channel series appeared on screen.

“We’ve been fans since 2013, you’re catching up,” Maturo captioned the post.

Carpenter celebrated the news of his first Hot 100 No. 1 on Instagram, posting a three-item carousel to his feed last week. The first photo is the Hot 100 chart, followed by a video of Carpenter clapping along to the iconic song “Please Please Please” with co-writer/producer Jack Antonoff and co-writer Amy Allen, as well as sound engineer Laura Sisk off-camera.

“MY FIRST #1 on the @billboard HOT 100!!!!!!!!” Carpenter’s Instagram caption read. “And an espresso at #4.. I am so incredibly grateful so I will definitely remember this day for the rest of my life! @jackantonoff @amyallen I love this song so much and I love you both!!!!! I love our high pitched claps!!!!! I love @sharp_stick (Sisk)!!!! Good things come in threes. Thank you to everyone who listened and made it so much fun to get these songs out into the world. More to come soon.”
